Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort – situated an hour drive from Cannes – has been a top-notch facility for many years. In the last 5 years, Terre Blanche scored very high in the annual Golfers Choice Awards, even being number one in 2017! The golf club has two 18-hole golf courses designed by Dave Thomas: Le Château and Le Riou. The course is known for the great lay-out and excellent maintenance. Combine the golf with the astonishing hotel and you have a golf experience the way it is meant to be.

2. Le Château de Taulane (8.6)

Situated between la Côte d’Azur and les Gorges du Verdon is Le Château de Taulane. This prestigious 18-hole golf course was designed by Gary Player and is situated in an exceptional setting at 1000 meters altitude. The course, guarded by seven lakes, is challenging but very enjoyable for both high and low handicappers. Due to the hills taking a buggy here is recommended.

3. Golf Country Club De Cannes Mougins (8.5)

A few miles away from La Croisette and it famous seafront, the fairways of Cannes Mougins Golf & Country Club are surrounded by the superb montains of the Southern Alps, some of the most impressive assets of the area. The course, measuring 6312 meters from the tips, is nestled against the Valmasque Nature Park and allows golfers to from the turmoil of the cities.

4. Golf De Saint Endréol (8.3)

Open since August 1992, Golf De Saint Endréol (designed by Michel Gayon) is sculpted by the multiple facets of this seductive and varied landscape, creating the perfect golfing experience for all levels of play. A spectacular 18-hole course of international renown offers splendid views over the river Endre. Each of the eighteen holes has its own distinct personality, perhaps the most spectacular being the 13th, with its fantastic drop onto a waterside green.

5. Golf International Pont Royal (8.2)

Golf International Pont Royal is integrated into the unique environment of Provence with “garrigue” and pine woods offering a real tactical challenge. The course is designed by Severiano Ballesteros, making Pont Royal the only golf course designed by him in France. The golf course offers great views of the Luberon, the Alpilles Mountain range, the Durance Valley and the Massive of Trévaresse.

6. Golf De Roquebrune Resort (8.1)

Ideally located between Cannes and Saint-Tropez and just 10 minutes from Saint-Raphaël and St. Maxime, Roquebrune Golf Resort will definitely bring joy to your eyes. 7. Golf De Valescure (8.1)

Golf De Valescure is one of the few golf courses in France that is designed by legendary golf course architect Harry Colt. Colt created the course in 1895 and is designed to offer several relatively short holes. At first glance, it might look easy to play the course, but the narrowness of fairways, the difficult rough, numerous water obstacles and rather small greens are all elements that force you to chose your clubs carefully.

8.  Golf de Barbaroux (8.1)

Designed by legendary golf course architechts Pete Dye and PB Dye, Golf de Barbaroux offers you a modern golf course built in a true American style. Tremendous greens (the biggest is 69 meters long: the biggest in Europe), massive bunker complexes, and gorgeuos lakes make this course an challenging and unforgettable experience. The course is surrounded by a park of pine and oak tree. The nearby hotel has everything to get you relaxed after your round.
