About Royal Golf de Meknès
Meknes has a 9- hole golf course built within the walls of the Royal Palace. It is the only enclosed golf course in Africa, is immaculately kept, has a lovely clubhouse and really has to be seen to be believed. You can hire clubs and caddies from the club and green fees are not at all expensive. It is also unique in that it is the only course to be lit-up and played on at night.

Royal Meknes is situated inside the city center surrounded by ancient walls on the private property of the King. The design is pretty straightforward with large bunkers surrounding the greens.

Ofschoon er een tournooi was vandaag mocht ik toch om 15 h starten. Het achter de Golfplaats gelegen restaurant Palais Ismaila kon ik de tijd uitstekend overbruggen en het eten was uitstekend.
