About Kinabalu Golf Club

The Kinabalu Golf Club is regarded as the oldest club in Sabah and was where golfing took root in Kota Kinabalu in March 1933. The golf course occupies about 40 acres of mostly flat and gentle land. The course rating is 70 with a 125 slope rating. Visitors are allowed on the course, but only from Tue – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 and 12:00 – 15:00, and a required to a valid USGA Handicap Index of 24 or lower for men and 30 or lower for women. Other activities associated with the club and utilizing facilities scattered about the immediate vicinity includes tennis, swimming, karoake, squash and a fitness centre.
