Also penneshaw gc is more a social get together than a prefect golfcourse. But it is a 9 holes course also run by volunteers. All members has a task and sponsors sometimes assist in keeping it going. Also here the "greens" are black and from the same material as the other 4 courses on the island. But members like it and if you have to wait for the ferry back to the mainland and have some time, it is worth a visit and enjoy talking to the members or having a beer. Much better than waiting in your car before the ferry departs.
