A beautiful course in the heart of Mallorca!
Laid out across beautiful Mallorcan terrain, just east of the capital Palma, Golf Son Gual is the realisation of one man’s dream. Adam Pamer, a double-glazing magnate and a self-confessed golf nut has been visiting the island since 1974 and purchased a holiday home there in 1994. Frustrated with the poor condition and service he experienced at many of the island’s courses, he set out to build his own dream golf club and employed three-time German Amateur Champion, Thomas Himmel, to create the new Golf Son Gual. Himmel has worked wonders and delivered an exquisite golfing experience at Golf Son Gual that blends seamlessly into the local landscape of Majorca. Son Gual
Playing on what can only be described as a cold windy day with sunshine, the experience was in general a good one. The course design, green to tee was easy to navigate, holes themselves had a good variety from elevated tees to splodge bunkers of irregular but interesting shapes. Hole four was a nearly island green, which added more interest.

It's difficult to review Son Gual, as we played here just after a few days of very heavy rain. Buggy's were not allowed on the course as a result of that, although they allowed one injured friend to use a buggy, which was very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Aktuell ist der Pflege Zustand ordentlich. Bedingt durch viel Regen und wenig Licht in den vergangenen Wochen hatte die Anlage etwas zu kämpfen.
