A traditional links course largely untouched since the 1800s. Deep bunkers with revetted or sleeper lined faces add to the challenge.
A number of the orginal greens from the course laid out in 1851 by Old Tom Morris are still in use.
Prestwick is a course where you will certainly have fun.

Just played it again after 1.5 years. I still got a great impression of the course and will never get tired of it.
Hole 17th used to be the 3rd hole at the Open Championship, and it is the Oldest hole on a Championship course. It has never been modified- therefore, you play it just like Tom Watson did.
