Schottland, Wales und Nordirland), Irland, die Niederlande und Belgien. Die meisten Golfer strömen nach wie vor in beliebte und sonnige Golfziele wie Portugal (Algarve), Spanien und die Türkei.

Europa

Der Golfsport nahm seinen Anfang an den sandigen Küsten Großbritanniens, insbesondere an der Ostküste Schottlands. Seitdem hat sich Golf aufgrund einer größer werdenden Mittelschicht und besserer Transportmöglichkeiten in ganz Europa verbreitet.

Europe

Golf as a sport first took off along the sandy shorelines of Great Britain, particularly along the east coast of Scotland. Since then - due to a rising middle class and better transporation means - golf has spread throughout Europe.

Wegen seiner Naturschönheiten und seiner Gemütlichkeit ist Österreich seit vielen Jahrzehnten ein beliebtes Urlaubsland. In den letzten Jahren hat sich Österreich aber auch zu einem idealen Ziel für einen Golfurlaub entwickelt.

I campi da golf sono relativamente vicini tra loro. La qualità è alta, i prezzi sono molto ragionevoli e c'è un'enorme varietà di campi da golf diversi: da quelli pianeggianti a quelli molto collinari, e sempre in un contesto magnifico.

Oltre alla posizione idilliaca, al design elegante e all'eccellente cura e manutenzione dei numerosi campi da golf, gli hotel golf in Austria offrono ai golfisti un bonus speciale. Oostenrijk

Volgens de jury van de International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) was Oostenrijk in 2005 als golfland de ontdekking van het jaar en de reisbestemming van de toekomst. Wegens zijn prachtige natuur en spreekwoordelijke 'gemütlichkeit' is Oostenrijk al decennia lang een geliefde vakantiebestemming. De laatste jaren ontwikkelt het land zich dus ook tot een ideaal reisdoel voor uw golfvakantie.

Golfbanorna ligger relativt nära varandra. Kvaliteten är hög, priserna är mycket rimliga och det finns en mängd olika typer av golfbanor: från platta till mycket kuperade och alltid i magnifik miljö. Förutom idylliska lägen, elegant design och utmärkt skötsel och underhåll av de många golfbanorna såväl som golfhotellen erbjuds golfare en speciell bonus. Vad kan vara bättre efter en runda golf i den friska bergsluften med vacker utsikt än att koppla av i hotellets spa eller njuta av en massage!

Österrike

2005 utsåg juryn för International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) Österrike till årets upptäckt och som framtidens destination. Österrike har på grund av landets naturliga skönhet och sitt “Gemütlichkei”t varit ett populärt semestermål i många decennier. Under de senaste åren har Österrike emellertid också utvecklats till en idealisk destination för golfsemester.

GC Gut Freiberg

Für 2 Euro bekommt man auf der Range 11 Bälle, empfinde ich als Zumutung. Der Platz ist umgeben von Wäldern und Hügeln, sehr schön. Absolute Ruhelage, sehr entspannend. Sehr hügeliger Platz, richtiges Workout. Sehr freundliches Personal, das Backhendl sehr gut. Jederzeit wieder.

Hügeliger Kurs in sehr schöner Umgebung. Die meisten Löcher sind fair. 2 Löcher auf den ersten 9 hängen seitlich stark, was für mich auf einem Golfplatz eher nicht geht. Sonst aber viele wirklich schöne Löcher und auch gut gepflegt.

Dieser wundervolle 18-Loch-Platz ist ein Traum. Gigantische Ausblicke, tolle abwechsungsreiche Spielbahnen, breite Fairways, Wasserhindernisse, sicher einer der schönsten Plätze Österreichs in meiner Sammlung. Weitläufig und ziemlich hügelig, also Cart sehr zu empfehlen.
