About Allgäuer Golf- und Landclub e.V.
The complex of the Allgäuer Golf & Landclub with 18-hole championship course and 6-hole short course, built in 1984, is one of the oldest golf courses in Bavaria. It is located about three kilometers south of the Kneipp spa town Ottobeuren, which is famous for the Benedictine monastery with its baroque church.
The interesting layout is characterized by old trees and varied golf courses. With its numerous water hazards and bunkers, the course is wonderfully embedded in the slightly hilly terrain.

Op de terugweg Ottobeuren bezocht (leuk plaatsje) en gespeeld op de Allgauer. Aardige baan, met een paar leuke uitdagingen. Baan was goed verzorgd. Green schoon en totaal niet beschadigd. Leuk om een keer te spelen.

Toller relativ flacher Golfplatz in MItten von vielen Bäumen. Recht anspruchsvoll zu spielen, da ab gelb rechtlange Drives gefragt sind. Abwechslungsreich und nie langweilig. Platz ist gut gepflegt. Restaurant gut, mit ausgezeichnetem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sicher zu empfehlen.

Wunderschöner, überwiegend offener Parklander. Vielseitiges design, abwechslungsreich, sehr harmonisch an die Topographie angepasst, naturbelassen.. Backnine schwieriger, muss man teilweise kennen. Greens heute langsam. Ambiente echt country like, freundliche Rezeption auch durch Mitglieder. Gute Küche. Insgesamt sehr emfehlenswert.
