Im Umland von Dresden befinden sich aktuell drei Golfplätze. Östlich der Elbe, erhöht über der Stadt und nur 15km vom Dresdner Zentrum entfernt befindet sich GC Ullersdorf – allerdings ohne Anbindung an das Öffentliche Nahverkehrssystem – am Rande der Dresdner Heide.
