Driving up to The Island GC is great. A winding road along an estuary with Malahide on the other coast. This club is great to play last as it is close to Dublin Airport (15 minutes).
This is golf at its best. Nothing is artificial, great dunes in a lovely scenery. The views of the sea and Malahide are great. Some greens lie in natural amphitheaters and when talking abou…
