Wanted a venue in the middle of Ireland to suit golfers coming from Dublin and Galway. Mullingar was a great choice, will definitely revisit and recommend it to anyone who wants a great parkland experience.

Played an open in October and was very disappointed with the overall condition of the course. Poor maintenance of tee boxes and worse the greens had just been worked on a couple of days before this open. Wasnt told on the phone when I booked. Beautiful parkland course designed by Open Champion James Braid - Home of the Mullingar Scratch Cup won by Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke Paul McGinley & Shane Lowry. Challenging Par 3 2nd hole.

Mullingar GC is located in Belvedere on the way the Galway and a nice stop in the middle of Ireland. The course a standard par 72 of 6000 meters with 10 par 4’s,4 par 5’s and 4 par 3’s evenly distributed over both out and inward 9’ holes.
