The club was officially opened on the site of Holywell Farm in October 1922. The course of Tadmarton Heath was designed by Cecil K Hutchison who joined forces with James Braid in 1914 to design the King’s Course at Gleneagles. Visitors are welcome throughout the week at Tadmarton. There is often availability on weekend afternoons too, but it is always advisable to call the pro shop. Societies are popular and the layout of the course means that we can offer 7, 11 or 18 holes in any combination.
Tadmarton Heath opened in 1922 and is situated on top of a hill at 650 feet. Therefore wind is invariably a factor when playing here and the prevailing westerlies can make the many long par fours difficult to reach in winter. a very nice heathland course. beautiful greens with a bite, excellent par 3's and quite a few punishing bunkers. Played the course at an open competition, very hospitable.

This is a superb golf course where the bunkers and greens are always excellent. In fact over the last couple of years they have replaced every single bunker and they sure know what they are doing.
