Interessante en bijzonder pittige baan. Par 65/66 en we krijgen maar 9 slagen mee op deze baan - dat legt de lat hoog! Met name de par-3’s zijn enorm lastig. Je moet veel ‘air’ hebben en afstand halen om ze goed te kunnen spelen. Voor geel 1x par 5, voor rood 2x par 5.9 holes wind mee,9 holes wind tegen - een klassieke links baan, maar wat voor 1! Wanneer je helemaal naar het zuiden rijdt op het schiereiland Kintyre kan je rechts af naar de wereldberoemde Mull of Kintyre (je weet wel, van dat beroemde liedje) en links af ga je naar het dorpje Southend de thuisbasis van de Dunaverty golfcourse. Incredible scenic and beautiful place for a round of golf. A lot of fun to play too. The squared off greens are a cool feature. The three driveable par 4s are a lot of fun and good birdie opportunities. The par 3 4th hole is really cool. It's a blind tee shot with a punchbowl green. Another very good birdie opportunity. You will have a lot of fun playing this golf course.… More

Great setting for a natural golf course. Looks like it meant to be there. Some blind shots but good guide sticks show the way. Half is played along the beach some with big differences in elevation. Tee 4 was hard to find. Rest was easy to navigate. Nice view of sanda sounds and all passing boats. Nothing to buy (drinks etc) at the club house. No course guide available.… More

Zo’n fantastisch natuurlijke baan; the golfing gods dropped 18 holes from the sky and said: it’s good as it is. Daardoor soms puzzelen om te zien hoe je holes goed kunt en moet benaderen, maar great fun!
