The best traditional golf course I have played on in Europe this year (third week of September, Wentworth BMW week). The course itself is exceptionally well maintained: green fairways with fair lies anywhere you have directed your ball to, neat and well raked bunkers with same sand in all of them, trimmed rough, beautiful heather deeper rough. However, what made my day the two rounds I played were the greens: stimp 12 and a treat to play on. Bravo to the greenkeeper's staff for this unique piece of professional work! Good facilities, kind personnel. Only minus is the trains running along hole 4. But do not let this deter you from all the other positives. Great course, a must to visit and play when you are in the area!
