Golf as a sport first took off along the sandy shorelines of Great Britain, particularly along the east coast of Scotland. Since then - due to a rising middle class and better transporation means - golf has spread throughout Europe.

Golf courses in Sweden are really part of the overall landscape. They are beautifully located and merge seamlessly into the surrounding countryside. A passing moose or other wildlife is not uncommon during a round of golf and the quality of the courses is high. Swedish courses are open to green fee players.

Sweden

Golf in Sweden, with over 300 golf courses, is a growth industry. You will find championship courses such as Kungsängen GC in Stockholm and Halmstad on the west coast. Given the geography and topography of Sweden, the country is ideally suited for golf. Med tanke på Sveriges geografi och topografi är landet idealiskt lämpat för golf. Golfbanorna är antingen belägna på den robusta kusten eller de ligger i enorma skogar med slingrande bäckar.

Three beautifull 18 hole courses with all their very own lay-out. The first day I played the New Course, it has a quite open lay-out but I played on a very windy day and than it gets tough with the high rough. <br />The second day I playd the Parc Course, this course plays a lot shorter but is often also narrower. play it tactical and it is a great course with stunning scenery. <br />The last day of my stay on the resort I played the Old Course, the longest an hardest of the three and I enjoyed it very much. <br />For all three coures goes that no hole is like another witch makes it even more joyfull to play.

Spelade Nya Banan. Alldeles för blöt för att vara spelbar, dessutom kostade ordinarie greenfee 500 istället för 430 som det angavs i bokningen. Meningslöst att spela så blöt bana
