This is for sure one of the best golf parkland courses in Austria so if you are in Vienna you should give it a try. However the course is quite long and narrow so if you are not a shot shaper and your shots are not more or less precise be prepared to score a bit higher than usual as most of the tee shots are very narrow and some fairways are literally like 15m wide. Unless you can drive your ball over 250m the par-5's are not really reachable with second shots which is something I really don't like on already demanding golf courses where it is not easy to make birdies. Course condition was very good: fairways are nice but I don't really get the bunkers with two totally different types of sand in fairway bunkers and greenside bunkers! Unfortunately some greenside bunkers were not well maintained but this could as well be players fault. Tee-boxes are also good and greens were nice and quite fast. Some pin positions were quite quirky though. Practice area is very good. The pro-shop is also well stocked. Food in lovely Schönborn castle (which I would actually define as a mansion not a castle) behind 11th and 18th green was also good but some members obviously don't like the daily visitors from foreign countries as their attitude was not really friendly.
