The Five Nations Golf Hotel is located in a beautiful square farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, la Ferme du Grand Scley in Méan. The hotel offers 35 rooms, completely renovated in 2018 and is located in the middle of the golf course. The Five Nations Golf Club represents the combination of two unique courses, the Five Nations Méan and the golf of Durbuy. They are just a few kilometres apart and are ideally located on the border of the provinces of Namur, Liège and Luxembourg.

De kleinste stad van België dweept met haar pittoreske ligging, haar uitstekend hotel- en restaurantaanbod, maar ook met haar golfbaan die 
men vanuit geografisch standpunt makkelijk bij de mooiste van het land kan rangschikken. De diepe valleien,  de  beboste  hellingen  en  vooral de ontspannen, vriendelijke sfeer die er heerst, doen de rest. Architect Fred Hawtree tekende in 1991 een boeiend  parcours  uit  dat  perfect aansluit bij de schitterende omgeving. Erg veel moeite  heeft  hij  daar  niet  voor  moeten  doen, want  de  hele  site  is  gewoonweg  subliem.  Wel zorgde het uitgesproken  reliëf voor een technisch veeleisend, dus  tactisch terrein  dat  ook de fysieke reserves op de proef stelt. Precisie is hier overigens de boodschap.

Prachtige bosbaan maar uitdagende drives, fairway is afwisselend smal en breed….. tussen de bomen door en mooie hoogte verschillen…. Leuke baan waar je al je slagen moet beheersen….. kortom, als je in de buurt bent, zeker eens een rondje lopen. <br /><br />Als je een Handicart wilt, wel even reserveren, wij hebben gelopen.

The course was in really good condition very neat and tidy it has been wet you can see that clearly but again the green staff have done an excellent job<br />The first hole is still breathtaking <br />The staff in the clubhouse were brilliant as always its always a pleasure to play cant wait for my next visit.

Durbuy weer eens gespeeld, blijft een mooie baan en de start op hole 1 is altijd een feestje. Echter het weer was niet zo best geweest dus baan was kletsnat. Dat betekent dat je veel afstand verliest door plugged ballen die in de kleigrond blijven liggen. Greens waren echt onder de maat. Er waren ook geen balwassers en prullenbakken, afslagplaatsen gezand. Eea maakte een wat onverzorgde indruk. Ontvangst was netjes en in het clubhuis was bedinging prima. Vergezichten blijven prachtig en doorstroom op de baan was prima, was niet druk. Deze baan is in mei/juni echt veel beter te spelen.
