Golf Club SPLIT 1700 was founded in 1999 in Split, the club is member of the Croatian Golf Association (HGU). The members of the club train and compete at the city training ground, which is located in Stobrec by the river Žrnovnica, on the left side of the road to Omiš, 5 km from Split.

We hadden de club een aantal jaren geleden ook al op internet gezien, maar durfden de stap om er te spelen niet te wagen, want je kon nergens lezen hoe de baan was. Ja 6 holes en wat foto's op hun website, met vooral vrolijke golfers uit Split en omgeving, vermoed ik.
Maar dit keer op 15 september 2021 er toch naar toe gereden vanuit Vodice.

Academy Course
We played in June; it was warm, but with a little seabreeze the golfcourse was OK.
Fairways were dry (it had not rained for a while) but the greens were suprisingly good and fast.
We were received by the owner and his partner and invited for a glass of wine. Hospitality? Excellent.
