Københavns Golf Klub

Københavns - or Royal Copenhagen Golf Club - is one of my favourite golf courses anywhere, and resides in my personal top 5 for Denmark. In the Danish top 50 on Top100, it is currently ranked 14th, but it's all a matter of personal preference I guess. Københavns Golf Klub

This is historic golf course. Placed within a zoo! If you are in Denmark you should play this course. Kind of a golfers dannelsesreise/The Grand Tour/bildungsreise. It’s the oldest golf course in Scandinavia and protected. So close to all holes are original. The course and its surroundings are beautiful - and very peaceful. Een paar maanden geleden op deze bijzondere baan gespeeld. Ligging is zeer bijzonder, midden in een natuurgebied waar honderden herten rondlopen en je af en toe op moet passen voor de wandelaars die dwars door het gebied lopen of de tientallen paarden die meedoen aan een vossenjacht. Baan op zich is niet erg mooi, fairways zijn kennelijk lastig te onderhouden ivm de sneeu…
