BelgianGolfer review

This course was on my wish list for some time, but it's quite a long drive from Paris, so this time I played it on the way to Belgium from Bordeaux. The course is a Martin Hawtree design. I believe his the third generation of a course design family, and you can see he delivered quality. It's visually attrictive with the heather, the bunkering is excellent and it's a great layout. Course maintenance is also excellent. I payed for a day greenfee which was just a bit higher than the normal greenfee to play the other 9 holes La Canne. I would suggest other golfers to skip this course as it has clearly not same quality as the 18 holes course, and rather play the main course again. I have no doubt that this course should always be ranked in the top 10 of France!
