Golf De Chiberta

Thanks to its warm climate and its exceptional natural environment, the Basque Country has become a major draw for golfers. At Anglet, the Chiberta International Golf Course, where our hotel is located, was designed by Tom Simpson in 1927 to become (as was stated in the architect's contract) the world's most beautiful golf course. The course he designed got the thumbs up from its demanding owners, with a mix of ocean-side links and an inland in Chiberta forest. Today, the golf course remains the same as the one designed by Simpson: a 5,647-metre-long Par 70. Since 2002, young players and beginners have been able to practice on the 9-hole Impératrice course.More
