Der Sandy-Lyle-Platz gehört sicher zu den schönsten Wald- und Wiesenplätzen der Republik. Völlig unaufgeregt fügt er sich harmonisch und ohne künstlichen Schnickschnack in die Umgebung ein. Keine Spielbahn grenzt an eine andere, das Gelände ist wellig und abwechslungsreich, Fairway- und Grünbunker anspruchsvoll platziert.
