About Frankfurter Golf Club e.V.
The Frankfurter Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Germany, founded in 1913. An impressive tree population lines the fairways of the 18-hole parkland course designed by Harry S. Colt here in the Frankfurt city forest. Around 1,400 members have their sporting home here today. No other major German city has a fully-fledged golf course that can be reached in only ten minutes from the main railway station and the city center. An 18-hole round with a view from the natural oasis of our championship course to the striking Frankfurt skyline is a lasting experience for every golfer!

Een fantastische, voortreffelijk onderhouden baan in een prachtige omgeving. Uiterst plezierig vond ik ook dat het kennelijk de gewoonte is om in het stijlvolle halfway house even te pauzeren alvorens met de tweede 9 holes te beginnen.

Die Anfahrt zum Platz im Frankfurter Stadtwaldmit mit dem Navi ist einfach, ohne stelle ich mir das allerdings recht schwierig vor. Der Parkplatz erscheint klein, reichte aber an einem Donnerstag Nachmittag völlig aus - wochenends wird es bestimmt recht eng.
