Ring of Kerry Golf Club

Ring of Kerry Golf Course is located in an area of heathland on the world renowned Ring of Kerry overlooking Kenmare Bay and the Caha mountains. The championship course measuring 6663 yards from the back tees was the last course designed by the late Eddie Hackett who also designed the nearby Waterville Links and Old Head. Over 250,000 tons of sand were imported during construction to create the fairways and tees. The USGA specification greens were designed by Ron Kirby previously of Jack Nicklaus Golf Design and are considered to be amongst the finest putting surfaces in Ireland. There are nine par 4s, five par 5s and four par 3s - in total a par 73. This is a great example of golf and nature living in harmony with wildlife roaming freely through the heather and gorse.More
