Premier golf and country club in West Algarve!
Alto Golf Country Club, located in Portugal’s Western Algarve, is a premier golf and country club resort, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, with villas, apartments and townhouses, many with superb views of the sea, the golf course or the fabulous gardens.
The 18 hole, Par 72 golf course, was the last to be designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton.
The winding fairways and elevated greens reflect Sir Henry’s golfing philosophy of providing low handicap players with a testing game and still affording plenty of enjoyment for players at average club level and providing satisfaction and inspiration for beginners.

Alto Golf & Country Club
Very interesting golf course. Not a championship, but a true enjoyable course. Very well mantained, and needs lots of strategy to play it. Small greens and norrowed fairways, makes you wanna think before you choose the club. Friendly clubhouse. Some blind holes, and therefore would like to repeat in order to make a better score.

Na de resenties hier gelezen te hebben met een beetje lood in de schoenen naar alto.
Huhhh nee dit is gewoon mooi! Mooie aankomst, vriendelijk personeel mooi clubhuis.
En de baan een pareltje!
Leuke mooie park/bosbaan met makkelijke moeilijke en mooie holes!

Prima (park)baan voor een acceptabel bedrag. Geen hoogvlieger.
Geen buggies beschikbaar waardoor we te voet moesten. (Is te doen)
Wel jammer dat we na 18 holes met gele (ipv witte) schoenen van de baan af kwamen als gevolg van de kleurstof die ze schijnbaar op de baan spuiten. De gele kleur krijg je er dus niet meer vanaf. (Wat best wel zonde is).
