Nuevo campo jugado, San Lorenzo. Llegas a un parquin bastante desangelado, sin sombra para los coches. El personal muy amable y mi amigo Juan y Yo emprendemos la marcha al Tee del 1. Fantastic golfing day, golf course was in good shape and had amazing views.

We played San Lorenzo in March 2023. I had heard good things about the course. Indeed it is an interesting layout with a few outstanding holes along the water. Door eerdere recensies gingen we wat sceptisch naar deze baan; totaal onterecht! We hebben heel wat golfbanen in Europa gespeeld en deze is echt prachtig! Met prachtig weer deze geweldige baan gespeeld. Fairway’s en greens zijn super, waarschijnlijk doordat er afgelopen maand voldoende regen is gevallen. Hole 5,6 en 7 zijn prachtig. Bijzondere natuur (met mooi zicht op ponte da quinta do lago) waar we langs spelen. Hole 8,17 en 18 zijn ook super, daar speel je langs en over het water. Great layout and interesting holes - particularly like holes 6 & 7 along the lagoon. There are houses along some of the fairways but not too invasive as in many other golf resorts. Mooie baan, maar slecht onderhouden. Greens en Pasen slecht. Faciliteiten oud, slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Topographie des Platzes, Einbettung in die Landschaft, Fairways und Greens sind wunderbar. Die Wege und teilweise auch die Abschläge sind sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen und wirken wenig gepflegt. Im Vergleich zu North, South oder Laranjal, aber auch Ocean oder Royal Course fällt der eigentlich sehr schöne Platz deutlich ab. Preis/Leistung daher suboptimal. Schade.

We zijn weer terug op San Lorenzo! We spelen beter golf en hebben meer banen gespeeld. San Lorenzo blijft een fantastische baan - afwisselend tussen mooi huizen en indrukwekkende natuur. Na Pinheiros Altos was San Lorenzo een verademing (alhoewel we toen in de regen speelden). Lange Par 4s, fantastische vergezichten, technisch te benaderen greens, kortom heerlijk. Un parcours magnifique, en bordure de mer près du célèbre Quinta do Lago. Le club-house old-school est adorable, les gâteaux sont délicieux. Le parcours est magnifique. Une incroyable promenade avec des points de vue splendides. Ce n’est pas un parcours facile mais il est suffisamment largement pour bien lâcher ses coups. Les bunkers peuvent être redoutables. Les fairways green et depart top Buncker moyen, le club house et le parcking sont un peu surprenant pour un parcours de cette qualité. Les lauriers roses et autre arbuste fint de ce parcours un regal pour les yeuxs.

A visually stunning course and real test with some long par 4's for mid handicapper average hitters. Greens tough but fair - quick but not lightening when we played. A must do if in this part of the world. All staff incredibly helpful and courteous. Views along the Ria Formosa will stay long in the memory.

Great golf course! Very good overall conditions from tee to green. Every hole is unique and the views are fantastic on 6th and 7th holes. In harmony with nature, the golf course provides an amazing challenge to the better players and a fun course to those who wish to just have a round with friends.
