The Royal & Ocean Golf Courses at Vale do Lobo in the Algarve provide 36 holes of challenging golf available to play throughout the year. The two courses were designed by the late golfing legend, Sir Henry Cotton and redeveloped by American Architect Rocky Roquemore.
On the Royal Course you can find the most photographed hole in Europe, the 16th, a par three which requires a carry over the cliffs. Both take players through umbrella pine and fig tree-lined fairways down to the cliff's edge and alongside the beach.
This combination of links and inland golf provides an enjoyable game for golfers of all standards.
