Played on Royal Course... first 9 holes: good but too narrow fairways (too crowded by villas on the sides); second 9 holes beautiful with great landscape (16th hole with a spectacular and unique scenario).

Een geweldige baaan om te spelen! Al vroeg gestart met de opgaande zon vol in het gezicht. Wat een heerlijk gevoel is dat. Dan de baan. Hele mooie holes om te spelen. De greens bijna altijd bewaakt door bunkers. Die heb ik nogal eens moeten betreden. Maar dat heb je als je met enig risico speelt. ‘s Morgens vroeg gestart. Receptie was al geopend. Het was nog even wachten op het krijgen van de buggy. Kon op tijd starten. Een uitdagende baan. Een aantal up-Hill greens die, voor mij, lastig te bespelen waren. Wel leuk om dit soort greens ook eens te spelen. Wie van water houdt komt op de eerste 9 holes aan zijn trekken. Ze gaan hier duidelijk voor het geld. Flights worden aangevuld tot 4. Online boeken kost 125, als je zo maar langs komt kan dat tot 200 kosten. Paar fraaie uitzichten over zee.

Ocean Course gelopen, prachtige baan, vooral de holes direct aan zee, en met de waterval. De Range zelf is onvoldoende, mag tot een ijzer 9 slaan waarbij je veel betaalt voor de range ballen. Mooi Clubhuis.

Sehr schöner Platz in einwandfreiem Zustand - eingebettet von wunderschönen Villen und der Natur.

De Ocean Course is mn de 2e 9 erg leuk. Kwaliteit van de greens en hier en daar de fairways viel me tegen. Oefenbaan is dermate kort dat er maar tot 140 mtr. geslagen mag worden.

Na een jaar opnieuw de Royal Course gelopen. De baan blijft altijd heel leuk om te lopen, door de combinatie van de oude holes en de nieuw aangelegde holes. Het blijft daardoor heel afwisselend. Persoonlijk stoort mij de bebouwing niet erg tijdens het spel. Het onderhoud van de baan is zoals altijd super. Een van de weinige banen met groen gras. Ook het clubhuis en terras… More

Rondje gelopen eind februari 2023 op de Ocean Course. Prima ontvangst, maar dat mag ook wel voor een (pittige) greenfee. Inslaan op de drivingrange gaat nergens over (maximaal ijzer 9) vandaar de lage rating hiervoor. Vandaag Ocean Course van Vale do Lobo gespeeld. Mooier dan de Royal course maar ook voor deze course ben ik van mening dat er mooiere en betere banen te vinden zijn in de Algarve. Vale do Lobo wat mij betreft over-rated en veel te vol. Ook vandaag weer lange wachttijden, wat je spel absoluut niet ten goede komt. Ruim 5 uur voor 18 holes. Hoy jugué los dos campos en el dia. Por la mañana Royal course, campo con continuos desniveles (a veces se me antojan un poco extremos) y en muchas zonas demasiado encajonado entre casas. Los pares 3 son muy interesantes así como otros hoyos como el 5 (hcp 1). Lo mejor para mi son los hoyos 15 y 16, los únicos con vistas al mar. Y sobretodo el par 3 hoyo 16 que es el… More

Lovely day out on the Ocean course and first time I have played it. February day so a bit windy but course had had lots of use. Fairways not quite as good as I expected. Great layout and great experience.

De royal is mooi ruim opgezet brede fairways weinig echte hindernissen waar je de bal zoekmaakt. De nodige villatjes langs de randen maar ook veel natuur tussendoor.

Fantastic courses with some really classy holes. The views on the ocean are fantastic but the royal has some really clever holes and the 16th is a magnificent par 3. Looking forward to playing there again in the future.
