Played Bearwood Lakes on a beautiful October day. Everything about this place oozes class. From its location in stunning woodland just outside Reading, to the facilities and the Golf course itself. This was my second time playing here and it just gets better with each visit. The course itself is cut out of the forest with a number of holes towards the back end around lakes. It’s immaculately kept, with excellent tees, fairways and greens. Bunkering is also great throughout the course. It’s a very fair test in that you get what you deserve. Almost all shots you can see in front of you, which I like. It’s an absolute joy to play and has something for all levels of Golf. Getting on is not easy, you either need to be a members guest be have reciprocal rights. But at 70 pounds it’s worth every penny.
