About Mijas Golf
Mijas Golf is situated in the valley of Mijas, north of Fuengirola, only twenty minutes from the Málaga international airport and Marbella, and 3.5 km. from the sea, in Andalusia. Keeping the original design of Robert Trent Jones Sr., the Mijas golf course has been totally refurbished in 2012. The gentle outlines of the Los Lagos course in contrast to the stunning appearance of our “Bridge-ball” cannot leave anyone indifferent; proving that it is possible to mix tradition and innovation on the same scenery. Mijas Golf has also another course which is Los Olivos. Both are 18-hole courses, perfect to spend a full day playing golf!

Los Lagos
Los Lagos is the best course in the area, flat and easy to walk it and fantastic design. Enjoyable for the longest players, wide fairways and fair for all. Good mantenaince and challenging greens. A round course, I like everything. Also the restaurant is a must, very well managed by Jesus Porras.

Los Olivos
Los Olivos is the second course of Mijas Golf. It’s a plot smaller and trickier than the other but also funny. If you get the fairway with your driver you have half way done except in the first 2 holes with the elevated greens, it’s not easy to get the par. Challenging for all hcps. The restaurant is a must at the end!

Los Lagos
A real resort course with the widest fairways on the Costa. The only way to lose a ball is to hit it sideways 250 meters, or have a really bad ball striking day and dumb it in the water.
Water is actually only really in play on a few holes despite the name (Los Lagos). The course is relatively long. No real memorable holes. Repetitive and boring layout.
