Been playing at the magnificent Galiana course for years, but when we played it again today, we were shocked by the state of the course; tee boxes, fairways, all in very bad shape. Greens so so. Looks like the Greenkeeper has been fired, terrible! Also, prices have been going up... playing with the 2 of us is €85 a person + €30 buggy. No problem if the course is in excell…
Dear Sir, I am the course Manager, firstly I would like to apologise for the state of the course, due to an adverse reaction to a treatment applied on the fairways and tees, there has been severe damage in these areas of the course. We have not fired the greenkeeper, we have given him our full support as this is the first time in 10 years that something like this has happened. I hope that the next time you visit us, you will find the course in a better condition. Regards
The golf course has an average of 5 teeing off points per hole, up to 6, on the par 5s and some par 4s. The main reason behind this is that it offers the golfer the possibilty to choose their tee according to their level of play and in case of weather conditions, affected by the prevailing winds. There are sufficient alternative tee positions to compensate thes different wind directions (Levante y Poniente). Thanks to this, we can set up the course daily and at the same time modify its difficulty and length.
