Sand Golf Club opened its doors in 2005 when a couple of enthusiastic entrepreneurs decided to transform an old potato field into one of the best golf courses in northern Sweden.
Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest - both renowned golf course architects - were commissioned to design this unique course. They were allowed to work with an area of pure sandy soil that provided the perfect conditions for the construction of a top course of the highest international USGA standard. An inland links course of the highest order was the result.
Sand has five different tees (46, 52, 57, 63 and 67) allowing each player to choose the challenge that suits them best. The course measures from 4150 metres (4540 yards) to 6100 metres (6670 yards) and has won several awards in its short existence.

Zeker een must play baan.

That will likely take until the end of May before it is settled.
