About Noord-Brabantsche Golfclub Toxandria
The Noord-Brabantsche Golfclub Toxandria at Molenschot, close to the cities of Breda and Tilburg, is one of the Netherlands’ finest inland golf clubs. Founded in 1928, it was the first golf club in the province of Brabant. The 18-hole golf course was designed by the British golf course architect J.F. Morrison and the challenging layout is set amongst the woods of Noord-Brabant. Facilities also include a traditional clubhouse with fine views over the course, plus driving range and other practice facilities.

Na deze zomer diverse banen in het zuiden te hebben gelopen was nu Toxandria aan de beurt. Nooit gespeeld veel over gehoord. Aankomst met voldoende parkeermogelijkheden, en gelijk zichtbaar dat het een bijzonder jaar is voor Toxandria. Zij bestaan dit jaar 90 jaar. De 2 laags Drivingrange met gratis ballen is pas vernieuwd, voor mij persoonlijk zouden er wat meer targets …

Op deze mooie vrijdagmiddag met het competitie team voorgespeeld op deze prachtige bosbaan.
Voor het clubhuis ligt een mooie puttinggreen waarop je alvast kan wennen aan de snelle greens. Kleedkamers zien er verzorgd en schoon uit. Een starttijd reserveren is niet mogelijk, ook niet echt nodig omdat er altijd plaats is.

Golfen in alle rust. Alles klopt mooie strakke fairways, en goede greens, waar de bal doet wat die moet doen. Na afloop heerlijk gedronken en gegeten in het wat gedateerd clubhuis. Maar de verbouwing die er volgens de schetsen die er lagen aan zit te komen wordt het straks een feestje.
