The Utrecht Golf Club 'De Pan' was founded in 1894. De Pan was designed in 1929 by the brilliant architect Harry S. Colt and is considered one of the most beautiful courses in the Netherlands.
The fairways extend over undulating terrain, amid a majestic forest. The golfer can enjoy peace and quiet here, where deer and foxes feel at home. The many moors often form a natural obstacle in the fairways. Several teeing places are raised or lowered due to the hilly nature of the track. This beautiful challenging forest course has been constructed on sandy soil, so the course remains in good condition year-round.
Guests are welcome at U.G.C. 'The Pan' from Monday to Thursday and must have a handicap of 24 or lower.

First of all it was quite an event to get a tee time here. I think I had four or five attemps, as there was always a problem : member's competition, a month course closed for visitors... But finally at November 1 we were at De Pan.

What can I say of this Harry Colt classic, yeah it's built on quite a small site and yes the parking is not really huge. But I rather have golf holes then parked cars and most of the time this member club is very quite so you can enjoy the beautiful holes.
