The new holes fit surprisingly well into what was already a relatively tight but playable, heather-lined strategic course. Shame to lose the 14th, but the new 9th maintains the need to play around some blocking trees for your second, and the new run in on the back nine certainly benefits from the old 9th becoming the 14th. Played the new and improved Liphook recently - and the new holes really move what was already a lovely course up a gear! The new holes (8,9,10) and the revamped holes (11 and 15) are each good holes in their own right, and each fits into the historic Liphook setting really well. Greens are always in excellent condition. Many interesting holes and a good maxim is that position not length is the key to a good score; if you end up in the abundant heather, take your medicine and move on! Buen parkland con un comienzo algo atípico ya que el primer hoyo es un par 3 largo en bajada. El hoyo 1 y el 18 son una maravilla. Tiene algún hoyo extraño y complicado en la segunda vuelta. En líneas generales buen campo, muy bien mantenido y con un personal muy amable.
