Alnmouth Village Golf Club is England's oldest 9 Hole Golf Course. The course was designed and created by The course was designed and created by Mungo Park, a famous name in the sport, who was the club's first professional/greenkeeper. He won the Open Championship at Musselburgh in 1874.
The Village is almost unique as one of the few courses where you can utilize all of your senses, see both the real beauty of the fantastic coastline views plus the ever changing, natural, undulating links; hear the waves as they hit the long sandy beach, smell and taste the natural salt air that wafts in with the tides and feel the original, springy turf.
