Set in the gently rolling hills of North Nottinghamshire, in the heart of Robin Hood County, Hollinwell offers one of the very finest examples of heathland golf in the UK & Ireland.
Formerly known as Notts Golf Club, Hollinwell is a great test, and we would extend a warm welcome to visitors from far and near. Come and view Robin Hoods Seat, take a drink from the well that gives the course its name and soak up the atmosphere that only comes with a course of great stature with a wonderful history.

Hollinwell
I promised myself to return to Hollinwell after ghastly weather had blighted previous visits and, boy, am I glad that I did.
Hollinwell was in superb condition early in March despite frightful forecasts of a big freeze.
There is great sense of occasion on visiting the Nottinghamshire course which has a long and impressive drive leading up to a gorgeous clubhouse.

From the helpful pro to the friendly and welcoming club house staff including the lovely lady at the halfway house, the whole experience was a delight. A true test of golf, where you will need to be at your best to avoid the well placed bunkers and conquer the slick greens.
