Bury St Edmunds Golf Club 1/2
Holes: 18
The golf course’s original design was by the first British Ryder Cup team captain Ted Ray, winner of an Open and a US Open. It measured 6,087 yards, which was regarded as long for a non-links course. Today’s measurement of 6,676 off the white tees is still the second longest in Suffolk. A whole redesign of the course - done golf architect Frank Pen

Holes: 9
In October 1991 a 9-hole course opened which is now a thriving pay-and-play facility, a boon for beginners and casual golfers but no ‘gimme’ for the more experienced player either.

Bury St Edmunds Golf Club
A lovely course that has been incredibly well looked after by the green keepers. Not the cheapest if you are a visitor but a course that will challenge you to leave your ego at the door on the front nine. On the back nine distance off the tee Is your friend.
