About Moortown Golf Club
Founded in 1909, Moortown was designed by the World famous golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie. As a most traditional club with high standards both on the course and in the clubhouse, seasoned golfers will truly enjoy the complete golf experience offered at Moortown.
We offer first-class facilities in the clubhouse, a well-stocked pro-shop, excellent and complimentary warm-up areas and our top 100 MacKenzie designed championship golf course. It's great to combine Alwoodley and Moortown GC, as they are only half a mile apart and their histories remain intertwined.

Played Moortown in an Open event with 3 mates. Very impressed from the minute we arrived with the welcome in the Pro shop and the excellent clubhouse.
