About Dumbarnie Links
Dumbarnie Links - a course that opened in 2020 - is a new kid on the block in Fife. The aim of Dumbarnie Links is to provide a world-class, prestigious golf course on a site of genuine links land that is only minutes away from St Andrews, the “Home of Golf” coupled with service standards that do justice to the quality of the experience.
Dumbarnie Links is part of The Balcarres Estate which is owned by Lord Balniel. The 5000-acre Estate has been in Lord Balniel’s family for more than 400 years and the distinctiveness of this piece of land dates back to the 16th Century.

Dumbarnie Links
Clive Clark, who designed Castle Course in St Andrews found this piece of land for his and the newest championship course in Scotland close to Edinburgh and St. Andrews. Looking at the picture, you get a grasp how good the course is. Wonderful experience, thanks to David and all local staff to make the first round a wonderful experience.

Clubhouse not ready yet. Course just opened in May 2020. Improvised car park and container reception. Course great already and perfectly maintained. Wide fairways meandering through high dunes with unforgiving grass, large greens, very undulated, but looking much faster than they are. Deep bunkers with very soft sand. I recommend playing with a caddie. Very good practice …
