Hard to review as we had a gale force wind with fast greens difficult to put overall impression was good just a shame about the weather.

Lovely golf course with a nice short course, good practice facilities (grass tees) and a nice course. It's in the madinat makadi resort which has several hotels Jaz hotels, tui, iberotel. Platz war in gutem Zustand, die Bahn 10 -18 waren besser als im Jahr 2021. Alle Bahnen sind sehr abwechslungsreich. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht von Makadi.

Steigenberger Madinat Makadi is the golfcourse at Makadi Bay Egypt 40 minutes away from Hurghada. I had high expectations but unfortanelly Madinat Makadi is in trouble. Sehr schöner Platz, die Bahnen sind abwechslungsreich, der Platz wird zur Zeit wieder auf Vordermann gebracht (Bahn 10 - 18), war ein Jahr geschlossen wegen Corona. Cart ist zu empfehlen, haben bei über 30 Grad gespielt.

Amazing how courses like this are carved from the desert and maintained to a high standard. Good accommodation options nearby and a nice clubhouse to finish the round. Well worth a visit when travel restrictions allow.

Played this course once while located at Soma Bay, and that was a good choice to do so. The course is a bit more hilly than it looks when you enter the facility, we walked, that gets a bit hard on the last 3-4 holes, they are really up and down, but ir was fun to play. Een erg leuke baan met meerdere tee boxen. Behoorlijke hoogteverschillen. Goede, maar tricky greens. Fairways prima alhoewel een beetje hard. Prima ontvangst en goede service. Super Platz, einzig die Startzeitenvergabe ist dubios- die von zuhause reservierte Wunschstartzeit war nicht möglich, wir bekamen eine spätere Zeit, und dann bekam plötzlich ein Spieler die Zeit, die wir wollten, weil es hieß, es sei keine teetime nötig. Madinat Makadi Golf Course... Platz liegt etwas außerhalb von Makadi Beach in hügeliger Landschaft. Es geht teilweise sehr schön bergauf (wunderbare Aussicht) sowie bergab. Very chalanging course with a lot of bunkers positioned on right places. The course is quite long (6.300 and something from yellow tees) and considering there is no day without a wind it feels even longer. First 9 holes are flat and the second nine very ondulated. Left and right of the fairway is a wasteland thypical for this region. I’d play it on and on ;).

Der Platz war in einem top Zustand. Die Bahnen sind durch die etwas hügelige Landschaft teilweise recht anspruchsvoll. Wasserhindernisse gepflegt und schön anzusehen. Die Leihschläger so lala... hatte Standard gemietet (15 Euro) Greenfee obere Grenze (95) aber der Platz ist in einer Wüste und wirklich toll gelegen mit feiner Aussicht auf die Makadibucht. Tolles Ambiente. Der Platz ist der Wüste "abgerungen". Pro Bahn sind fünf (!) Abschäge wie ausgestanzt im Wüstensand, teilweise 80-100 m bis zum Fairway. Damen haben 80-120m weniger pro Bahn. Sehr schnelle betonharte Greens. Es gibt keine Roughs - neben den Fairways ist Wüstensand, da geht kein Ball verloren. Die Bahnen selbst sind nicht sonderlich spannend, also eher gut… Mehr

Mooi onderhouden baan, fairway en greens perfect in orde wel moeilijk door de w Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.

Gepflegter Golfplatz in der Wüste; relativ hohes Greenfee aber gepflegter 18- Loch Platz; kurzplatz (Executive course) ist weniger gut gepflegt.

Parcours intéressant mais difficile (vent et chaleur) voiturette fortement conseillée Personnel aux petits soins le verre de jus d’hibiscus et la petite serviette fraîche et rafraîchissante à la fin du parcours sont les bienvenue.

Anspruchsvoller aber interessanter Platz. Empfehlung: Erste Runde einen Elektrocar mieten da konditionell sehr anspruchsvoll.

Nach etwas teurem Transfer vom Hotel Cascades in Soma Bay zum Golfhotel Steigenberger in Makadi Bay zum Madinat Makadi Golfplatz waren wir angenehm überrascht. Das Hotel auch top und der Platz auch schön, aber die Qualität des Cascades Platzes konnte er bei Weitem nicht erreichen. Es fehlt schon hie und da und daher ist es kein TOP-Platz. Dennoch gut zu spielen und Spass zu haben. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr hilfsbereit.
