For starters the surroundings are beautiful. Front-office personel was very friendly. After my teaching pro (from another golfcourse) and I checked in we hit the course. I was amazed by the quality of the course. The greenkeepers did an awesome job. From tee box to green: everything was in top condition. Course layout superb. Some holes look might look simple on the board, but the landscape with its elevations, well placed protective bunkers and the slope on the greens, can make the hole more challenging than initially thought. The view of each hole invited me to go long on each tee shot. but looks can be deceiving, as I found out. I really enjoyed playing here and would like to recommend this course. After golf we got stranded on hole 19, "the storytelling club" and reviewed the previous 18. The atmosphere and staff was very nice and had a nice chat with some clubmembers whom ordered the famous french onion soup. Unfortunately, the pro and I needed to get back on the road towards home, otherwise, we would have stayed to confirm the claim of the club member about the damn good soup.
