Ombergs Golf Resort is known as the best golf course in Östergötland in southern Sweden. This challenging course is situated in beautiful surroundings near lake Vättern. The windy moors and forests, idyllic meadows and beaches give the course its varied character. Ombergs Golf Resort's 18-hole undulated course was designed by former Swedish Ryder Cup player Pierre Fulke and Bengt Lorichs. The course follows the unique contours of the surrounding area. The maintenance of the fairways is always very good and the excellent greens are particularly appreciated by golfers. By using Penn A4 grass, not only is the golf experience optimal, but the environment is also considered. The single-cut greens have also been constructed using the latest drainage techniques. Ombergs Golf Resort has been offering a wonderful experience since it opened in 2002. The Resort continues to be popular thanks to its continuous developments with the aim of being a complete golf facility.
