After parking your car in the parking lot it's quite a climb up to the clubhouse but you are rewarded with beautiful views of the course. The course is undulated and has beautiful fescue rough. We took buggies and although we saw people walking with trolleys that's quite the exercise, the length between the holes with the hills make it quite a workout. It was a really pleasant course to play. Not super difficult but challenging from the yellow and white tees. Some nice doglegs and uphill downhill combinations. Some tees have blindshots and pretty steep inclines so it pays to be a bit conservative of the tee to prevent losing a ball. But balls in the rough were mostly easy to find back. The designer of Loreta is Keith Preston also the architect of two other top courses in Czech Republic, Albatross and Ypsilon. In my opinion Loreta is much more natural then Albatross, the maintenance at Loreta is good the greens were not very quick when we were there but I imagine they can get really quick when prepared for a tournament. The staff was super friendly and the food (nice local dishes) very nice.
