Bryn Meadows Golf Club 1

Op deze baan begin je met een afslag op tee 1 'hoog' richting bomen halverwege (de green ligt daarachter) en je eindigt bij hole 18 'hoog'. De aanleg van de baan tegen heuvels waardoor je regelmatig van/op schuine hellingen moet slaan. De loop van de baan wo0rdt bepaald door de natuurlijke hellingen wat het 'goed' spelen enorm beïnvloedt. Er zijn regelmatig tee-afslagplaatsen/hoog gelegen greens van een paar m tot wel 10-15 m hoger. mede door de vele bomen op de baan vereist een goed course management om een goede score te halen. Bijkomend voordeel; het weer was TOP! <br />Baan is bijzonder goed onderhouden, zowel fairways als greens; een uitdagende baan waar veel aspecten van het spel aan bod komen. <br />We spelen hier op 29 en 30 april. De eerste keer spelen was... best lastig. De tweede keer spelen was minder lastig door de 'voorkennis' nu. <br />Hotel en restaurant waren... matig. Ze zijn niet ingesteld op gasten van het continent? Uitzicht van het restaurant op de baan is... fantastisch!

A superb place: I will be back for sure. Excellent welcome and service from David Pocock in the club shop: he went above and beyond so we could play off the Whites! <br />A mixture of challenging holes, they retain a quaint continuity but test every asset that you have to your game.

Decent resort golf course... quite up and down layout. Good playing condition despite the pouring rain in previous days. Nice on-site hotel.
