Great value course. Short but technical.

A technical course - you need to keep your driver in your bag for several holes. Being fairly short, but with plenty of water and woods, you can score well if playing well - or get into all sorts of problems. It's an oasis next to the industrial area of Rotterdam port. Good playing conditions - some problems of bottlenecks when it's busy.

A busy course but very well organised. There is a start time for each 9 holes in order to avoid hold-ups. Excellent facilities and organisation. The par 3 course is a fun challenge! The only weak point is the slowness of the greens.

I was really impressed by the friendliness of all the players I met during my two rounds. Also - the club menu is excellent and surprisingly cheap. The course is carved through the mature woodland and quite challenging. The greens were true but a little slow. Well worth the experience.

It's always a great experience to play at Savenay - particularly for match play where the 'Amen Corner' of 6,7 and 8 come into play. There's a big difference off back or middle tees. The restaurant is excellent - copious and good value. The greens can be pretty tricky if mown to play fast - so flag positions can add several strokes if they're feeling mean!

Nearly all the golfers of the region agree that Baugé is the best course around. Excellent (and difficult) greens (the greenkeeper's hcp is 1) and a beautiful, natural course. If you like wild flowers, butterflies and other local flora and fauna, it can be difficult to concentrate on your golf! An excellent, challenging course. Tight fairways that run for miles means that accuracy is more important than distance. The greens were running at over 3.5m which I wasn't used to. Good value if you use the special Tuesday rates. The big clubhouse has got everything but it's not exactly 'cosy'! Definitely worth playing once it's open after the preparation work for the R… Mehr

Beautiful golf course. 9 woodland holes with tight drives and 9 links holes. A real pleasure - quite technical with plenty of chips to very raised greens. Big club house rather empty and a surly waitress / manager (?) and slow delivery rather spoiled the lunch. Highly recommended - a real test if the wind is blowing. Played this beautiful course for the first time - a really classy looking course with impeccable course condition. Good practice area and chipping green. Hole handicapping very strange. Lots of high handicap players on the course - so a bit slow. The greens are the best I've seen anywhere in a long time and present the major challenge on this fairly easy but technically… Mehr

A difficult course from the back tees with some very long par 4s. Excellent course condition (some greens in the process of verticutting) and good restaurant.

Very dry in the summer and too wet in the winter. It is set in a beautiful wooded park, but has some holes (like the first) which are almost unplayable if you don't the course. The greens are different on the holes down by the stream. The stream and lakes are full of duckweed; could be better.
