A modest 9 hole course, yet worth the experience for a relaxing couple of hours. I remember an interesting left hand dogleg slightly uphill. All the rest is relatively easy, a good trial for beginners.

The course is surrounded by a typical alpine forest of high pines, primarily, and this gives the course the typical mountain-course aspect, although the elevetion is not significantly high. This 18 hole course has two evidently different parts since it was born in a pleasant park of really high old trees, and subsequently extended into the nearby fields where the trees appear having planted only few decades ago. This is currently one of the most interesting courses in central Italy. Relatively young but cunningly designed in a beautiful quiet valley in the heart of Umbria. Not an easy course. Apparently this course is very popular among Dutch golfers. This is a historical course and you can figure it out by the architecture and the layout of the club house - where the food is excellent, by the way - and the size of the trees. This is not an easy boring course, do not expect anonymous flat holes. If you like lively hilly layouts, this is the place in Tuscany.

Given the soil morphology, this course is inevitably very flat - not my favourite kind of course. Nonetheless there are few quite attractive holes with water hazards, the #12 above all, a cute but deceiving lefthand dogleg skillfully hidden by the trees on the left side. Baan krijgt ten onrechte een wat lagere beoordeling. Baan is goed ontworpen met veel mooie holes die vaak naar keuze aanvallend kunnen worden gespeeld. Baan is veel leuker en mooier dan veel resortbanen in de buurt. Mooi omgeving, geen huizen er om heen, baan is uitdagend maar ook weer niet te moeilijk. Onderhoud was goed. In the neibourghood of the Ticino park, the course is in two different levels : tee #1 from upper down, to return to the level with #9. Again down with #10, and again up after #12. Plenty of mture trees, several holes interested by water hazard in the lower level. My favourite : #9 - a par 4 lefthand dogleg, where the 2nd shot climbs high to the green. It's a "young" golf course - one can tell it from the trees - but lovely. A rare case of a relatively easy course in spite of several holes where the water hazards come exciting in the play. Pretty variable, with a variety of different situations, with moderate ups and downs along a pleasant valley, attractive for good players (who will not find it boring) and high hcps a… Mehr

Vineyards here, vineyards there, vineyards everywhere! If anything else, the trip is worth for the view (and the restaurant on top of the hill). I enjoy this course but the scorecard invariably tells me that here I end up always far above my hcp. I should probably concentrate more on the strokes and less on the vines. Golfparc Sandur is de naam van nieuwe golfvereniging. BurgGolf is hier niet meer aanwezig. Alle heren afslagen zijn vernieuwd. De parkbaan is goed onderhanden genomen en er is veel gesnoeid. Leuk clubhuis, perfecte gastvrijheid. Beetje lastig om in te slaan als men al aan het spelen is. De drivingrange wordt gedeeld met de de eerste hole! Gras was beetje (te) hoog toen ik speelde. This tropical course with flourishing vegetation is a fulfilling golf experience for the variety of its holes, especially those up an down the hills, where you will find some very challenging holes, starting from hole #13 - an uphill par 4 with a lake on the right, and culminating with hole #15 - a spectacular par 3 with a stunning 50m altitude difference between the tee … Mehr

This is a very small, totally flat course with only 6 holes. It's a good place for beginners. Not a course I would recommend to a golfer with a handicap.

Buiten de baan is bij sommige holes nog wat lastig te zien. Na de recente aanpassingen van de greens (meer dan verdubbeld in oppervlak plus beter kunststof) nog leuker om een rondje te lopen. Een greenfee van 10 euro per dag kun je geen miskoop noemen. Het blijft wel spelen over voetbalvelden, dus geen echte golfbaan. Maar goed om je korte spel te oefenen.

This is one of the most famous golf courses in Italy - and the fame is deserved. Magnificent natural frame, in the woods, nicely ondulated holes, good maintenance. Rather hard to play but can be enjoed even by hi hcp golfers. I lost one ball in the leaves in the fairway (picture #8) just few moments before the maintenance cart passed with a powerful blower to blow the lea… Mehr

The colours in late autumn are beautiful in this nice, flat parkland course with not too many but spectacular trees, and plenty of water hazards. Played after severe rainfall: overall acceptable drainage on the greens, although some lakes (see my picture #8 blue course) over floodded part of some fairways. What I did not like is the driving range - not good for practicing… Mehr

Zoate lays attached on a tributary of the Adda river. This means plenty of water ditches and canals and a lot of trees - lovely, but not easy with quite a few challenging holes. Lovely #12 - shot from the tee then a ferry to cross the smal river to reach the landing area.

This course is truly non far from the sea, however you can see the sea only from the roof of the clubhouse because most of the holes are in a sort of lower depression that can turn out pretty hot - no breeze - during the day in summer. In winter, on the other hand, it is subject to floods and given the lack of drainage of this soil, it may well happen that at least 4 hole… Mehr

The course extension created two pretty different playing grounds since the original 9 lied in a hilly area amidst a forest of high trees, and the expansion is in a relatively bare flat land with young recently planted trees and fer water hazards.
