It is conveniently located right off the highway. It is located in a valley and the course is pretty flat and the fairway is wide. Not difficult to score well. When you are coming down from Silicon Valley area, the traffic is oposit and you will not have much trouble to reach without delay.

Normally you would not come to this golf course because it is quite away from large cities in France. Only when you very take holidays down south west of France, this is an interesting course. Some fairways are narrow, some are uphill or down hill. It is recommendable to stay in one of these cottages that are located along the fairways. It is really the feeling of vacatio… Mehr

Whenever I come and play here, I get fascinated with the culture and language mix of this region, which is Belgium but very close to Germany and The Netherlands. I play golf in many countries. Also in Belgium I have played more than ten courses, where this Durbuy the most. The course is well maintained. The hole 1 teeing off into a valley is just so nice. If you come here, I recommend you to stay at a hotel in the middle of village Durbuy. Belgian serve good foods.

They have two 18 hole courses so one can almost always play even the time when there is some club event on one of the courses. Fairways are surrounded by trees and some are quite narrow. When I am in the silicon valley, I play one of golf courses near by. This is one of them. The course is not difficult and is good to relax between business days. They are quite a few Japanese wives playing while their husbands are working at the office. Wide and pretty flat, no uphill fighting. Occasionally some wide deer crossing the fairway. They have two 18 holes. Some say Le Lion is easier, and others say La Marache is. I play both of them depending upon the availability and how crowed on that day. Both courses are beautifully maintained, give no real difficulties. Greens are large and no big slops so you can make the green on regulation, you should not have problems. This course has been owned by a Japanese firm. It is obvious that there are many Japanese members. The course has been sold to another company and now belongs to this person who owns many hotels in the neighborhood of London Heathrow Airport. Beyond your thought, it is located so no far from LHR. If you want to experience true golf in Scotland, this is the place. It is a private club where many well known golfers come and play. So you see them on the course and also in the club house. Among Dutch golf friends, this course is extremely popular. The main reason for that is because it is mountainous compared to any other places in The Netherlands, which is extremely flat. The course is flat and monotonous and not challenging. Staff is nice.

An excellent course. Some holes have water hazard but are manageable. The fairways are beautiful and woods around make the course more interesting. Apres golf facilities and foods are good.

The course is flat and simple. But it is located in a beautiful area not far from Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence. So when you are having holidays in this area, it is worthwhile to spend an afternoon here.

The course is pretty wide and not difficult to score good points. The course also has a good hotel right on the club house. If you book there, I recommend you to reserve the rooms 24 and/or 25 because these are large rooms and have a nice view of the course. The accommodation and foods are excellent.

This is one of beautiful golf courses I have played so far. It is quite friendly and one can score pretty well. Because of it is located not so far from Calais, there are many British golfers which makes pretty comfortable among these polite and true golfers. When we are staying in the Eastern part of Spain, for instance Cartagena, we make one day free to play on this course. AS the name Collinas implies, there are many hills but all gradual. When we take holidays with our friend couple in this area, We always include this course. The reasons is:(a) the course is quite friendly (in other words, no difficult holes for guests), and (b) the scenery with the Alboran Sea (part of the Mediterranean) is just breathtaking, (c) it is located quite close from Malaga. Recommended.

I travel a lot and have played more than 200 courses in the world, including several courses in the silicon valley area. It is my honest opinion that this golf course the very best is in this area. Op de koudste 6 oktober ooit een leuke ronde gespeeld. Greens snel ondanks de natte omstandigheden. Ook de rest van de baan zag er prima uit. Gezellig clubhuis. Arrangement van koffie met gebak,18 holes en twee gangen diner voor eur 80, prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Clubhuis is toe aan een upgrade.
