Fantastic golf course, impressie views, quality of grens and fairways is outstanding. Fresh, cool water every 3 holes.

The Hills ligt, de naam zegt het al, in de heuvels achter Pylos. Je ziet tijdens het spelen dus ook alleen maar heuvels, soms ver weg de zee en soms een dorpje in de verte. Mooie groene heuvels, deels met olijfbomen. De rough is hier dus de lastigste van de verschillende Navarino banen die we speelden, een bal in het struikgewas is meestal ook je bal kwijt. The Hills and The Olympic are the two new golf courses at this venue. Both are championship standard and very well kept. Both are played from the same clubhouse. Of the two I preferred the Hills. Due ottimi percorsi disegnati da Olazabal. L’Academy è più bello e più impegnativo. Esposto ai venti che qui soffiano forte, offre una vista meravigliosa sulla baia e sul mare. Percorsi entrambi tecnici, non lunghi. Manutenzione fantastica e green perfetti. Il percorso Hills è più facile e più riparato dal vento. Strutture di pratica meravigliose e molto spaziose. Deux parcours de haut niveau. L'olympic offre un tracé incroyable avec des panoramas somptueux au retour. L'entretien est parfait et le service au top.

Parcours de haut niveau avec un entretien exceptionnel Le Hills offre toutefois un petit peu moins d'intérêt que les 3 autres de la région notamment parce que les vues sont moins impressionnantes.

Et pour finir le parcours olympique, qui surplombe le Hills et le Bay. Que du beau, tout y est manucurée, c’est un régale, et quelles vues!

Parcours splendide à tous les niveaux, avec un accueil remarquable. Il est bien dessiné (par Olazabal) et encore supérieur au Dunes.

The Hills Dachten we het kan niet beter, wat ook zo is op Navarino. Het is bijzonder dat alle banen zo perfect in onderhoud zijn. Naar schijnt werken er 18 greenkeepers voor 18 holes, tegen in Nederland zes? De Hills meandert door een heuvelachtig landschap in een reusachtig terrein. Met de Olympic maar liefst 500 hectare. Int. Olympic course We zijn verrast, enorm verrast. Dat een landschap bepalend is voor een golfbaan wordt hier bevestigd. Wat een machtige uitzichten over de baai van Navarino en de daarvoor gelegen eilanden. Soms vergeet je golf te spelen sta je ademloos op een green naar de omgeving te kijken. De Olympic is net wat ouder dan de Hills maar ook dit ontwerp van Olazabal is nog maar net open. Wat geldt voor Hills (alles van uitmuntende kwaliteit) geldt ook voor deze baan, met dan als extra aantekening dat de tweede negen je de batterij van je telefoon kosten... je blijft foto's nemen. Een absolute aanrader.

De golfbaan was net een week open op de dag dat we er speelden. In de rough (oranje klei), de bunkers(wisselend zand) en op de greens (spijkerhard) kon je dat nog merken, maar verder ligt de baan er alsof hij er al jaren ligt. Mooie lay-out in de bossen. Lange moeilijke holes, spannende korte, grote hoogteverschillen, ruime greens. Een absolute aanwinst voor het resort. V… Más

Jag var bland de första som fick spela Olympic Course, som precis som Hills Course och samtliga faciliteter officiellt öppnar först i februari nästa år. Olympic Course är designad av José María Olazábal och bjuder på en kul, undulerad och omväxlande bana med fantastiska vyer. Wir waren als Gruppe eingeladen uns den Baufortschritt der neuen Plätze (Design von J.M. Olazabal) anzuschauen und das gibt definitiv zwei weitere Top-Plätze. Die Blicke schon jetzt phantastisch und von der Anlage her ganz vorzüglich in die Landschaft eingepasst. We were invited by the Management to visit the construction site. Navarino Hill will be managed by Costa Navarino Golf Resort and promises to Keep the same high Standards. I am looking Forward to the opening and will become part of the Story! The Westin Resort is Greeks number #1, no doubt, and among the very best I have been visiting to play Golf.

Costa Navario is constructing course no. 3 and 4 in the Hills above the Bay Course. The 'Hills' is still w a working title and the courses are designed by Ryder Cup Captain and Masters Winner José-Maria Olazabal.
