We visited Rosendaelsche to allow my playing partner also the see the club, and we both complete a visit to all clubs from the Old Nine next week. We should have played a day earlier, but course was then rained out. I got a message in the mail before 9 AM that day, so I thought that looked very professional. Hospitality was similar to my previous visit, staff and members are very welcoming to visitors, excellent. Rosendaelsche is a wonderful layout, it's one of my favorite tree lined courses in the country. The greens had been sanded very recently, but there was no discount on the greenfee. I would advise the club to provide a 15 to 20% discount, or maybe even instead provide a voucher for the bar/restaurant. Happy customers and more money spent in the clubhouse! I really like that a traditional club can think modern, and what I mean is they have changed the colours on the tees by numbers. I am a big fan of this, to provide people to tee off from easier tees. Excellent pace of play here as we went round in 3hours 15 minutes. As a result we were to early in the clubhouse for the barbecue, so I just had a snack. One of the waitresses did her very first day, and an other said she made us her very first Irish coffee. It's not easy to find bar staff these days, so I wish them well. This club is a must visit for all who like traditional clubs, I'm sure I'll go there again in future.
